Berol 'cook'

I buy a handful of these Berol Colour Fine Black pens every few months as I like to always have one to hand and the kids pilfer them for their own drawings. They are cheap but have a nice pointy tip that can make a nice flowing line similar to using a proper brush pen. I used them to draw this bird picture.

They are also cheap enough to use for blocking in large black ares. This mexican skull was taken from a project Sally was working on with her pupils. They coloured them first with stencils and I drew the right hand side as an example of the kind of stuff they could decorate them with.
